Yara India, a fertilizer company and provider of environmental solutions, has launched YaraAmplix Optimaris, its first own biostimulant under the global YaraAmplix brand in India.

A media statement said YaraAmplix is Yara’s global biostimulant brand designed with over 50 years of formulation knowledge and over 10 years of research and development in biostimulants, to enhance crop resilience, nutrient uptake, and overall crop quality while promoting healthier soils and better adaptability to environmental stress.

YaraAmplix is distinguished by its unique formulation process and incorporating natural ingredients such as seaweed and plant extracts that are carefully sourced and extensively tested, it said.

Initially available in Maharashtra

YaraAmplix Optimaris is a liquid foliar formulation based on bioactive components extracted from the alga Ascophyllum nodosum. It targets plant growth, more and finest sized fruits and mitigates the effect of abiotic stress conditions by priming the plant in advance.

YaraAmplix Optimaris will initially be available in Maharashtra from November 2026, with further commercial rollout planned across Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in the first quarter of 2027, it said.
